SACAS
Calendar of Events
SACAS offer an
exciting and varied calendar of events designed to meet the needs of our
diverse membership. Some events focus on the traditional Chinese calendar of
Festivals and provide opportunities to explore and celebrate
Chinese culture together. Waiting Parent events cater
specifically for those currently in the process of adopting
a child from China and are child-free to enable frank and open
discussions of all aspects of the inter-country adoption. Panda-Play
is our playgroup program for the 0-5 age range and it aims to provide a
fun and supportive environment in which parents and their children can play and
learn. Bamboo-Crew
events are designed for members with children of school age and provides age appropriate activities and vital peer support
throughout the school years. Chatter-Chicks is an informal
social group for adoptive mothers that often meet for dinner or
drinks. SACAS actively seeks to cooperate and
collaborate with other groups including those within the adoption,
Chinese and wider communities. Unless otherwise stated on the current
Calendar, all SACAS events are exclusively for Members of SACAS.
